Our Sunday School Ministry is an essential disciple-making strategy for our Church. As such, Sunday School has proven its effectiveness by teaching biblical principles and godly living to people at every age and stage of life.

Our responsibilities and duties centers around prayer, preparation, and teaching God’s Word. Our classes are divided into five classes; Adult Women, Adult Men, Youth, Intermediate and Children. Our classes are about fulfilling the Great Commission through our teaching ministry.

Our first preparation is our own hearts. Our  belief is that the Bible states that out of the heart are the issues of life. When the heart is pure, the vision is clear. We need to make sure that our hearts are right so that we can be the right type of Sunday school teacher.

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13

Sunday School is important in the spiritual development of Christians because it provides a forum for learning. This forum is comprised of students and teachers. Sunday School encourages spiritual interaction between the students and the teachers, as well as providing a comprehensive way of learning as a group. Ephesians 4:11, includes teachers within the five-fold ministry of the church. “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers”.  While the pastor is called to preach the Word unto Salvation, the teacher is called to bring further understanding of God's Word.
