The Mt. Pleasant Family sends our condolences  to the

Robertson and Walters Families

"I was walking through the valley

of the shadow of death with the

hundreds UPON HUNDREDS who were sick, struggling,

mourning and afraid. but I, was not afraid,

because the possibilities of the tomb pointed to

new life and new hope, even as death

lingered through the valley."

A summation of psalm 23:4

Remembering Sister Sherrye:

When you saw Sister Sherrye, she always greeted you with  a BIG smile, she had a smile for everyone. She was never a stranger to anyone, she obeyed the Lord, in that she followed the commandment, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:37-39)".

Thank you God for this daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, but most of all your Child. Sister Sherrye always made you feel comfortable in her presence, she was humble, meek and mild. She loved to sing in the choir and had such a beautiful sweet voice, her son Alex is blessed with that gift also. A song she often sang was "Victory Is Mine" and now the victory truly is hers!  We will miss you Sister Sherrye!
