the possibilities of the tomb pointed to
new life and new hope, even as death
lingered through the valley."

Remembering Pastor Washington:
Pastor was a passionate leader, dynamic teacher, powerful preacher and an anointed visionary, who was called to Pastor Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in April 2013. Every Sunday at the close of his sermon he reminded us about Jesus, saying;
"He died, but he didn't stay dead, early Sunday morning, He got up with All Power!"
Pastor Washington was also driven by his passion to empower the people of God to reach their full potential in Christ. He passionately believe that Sunday School, Bible Study and Worship Service were crucial tools for learning and implementing God's Word. Pastor's words; that's how you learn."
He believed that the Bible is the divine revelation and communication of God's Word, that; "all scripture is given by inspiration of God" (2 Timothy 3:16).
Pastor truly enjoyed his Annual Anniversary Celebrations. Each year he eagerly looked forward to celebrating his time with Mt. Pleasant. We will truly miss our Pastor.
