He is a passionate leader, dynamic teacher, a powerful preacher and an anointed visionary. Celebrating in his union with Mt. Pleasant is his beautiful wife, Amaryllis Coleman. They are the proud parents of four children.

Pastor Coleman also proudly served as Associate Minister  at New Beulah Grove Baptist Church in Sylvester, Georgia under Karl A. Smith, Sr., Senior Pastor from August 2014 -August 2022.

Pastor Coleman is driven by his passion to empower the people of God to reach their full potential in our Lord Jesus Christ. He believes that the Bible is the divine revelation and communication of God's Word; that "all scripture is given by inspiration of God" (2 Timothy 3:16).

In John 10:11, Jesus described Himself as “the good shepherd.” That is an important distinction for church leaders to consider. The qualities that made Jesus the Good Shepherd are the same qualities that still characterize a worthy pastor/elder. Simon Peter encouraged elders to “be shepherds of God’s flock” (under their care so that), “…when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away” (1 Peter 5:2-4). The good shepherd knows his sheep because “…the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name…” (John 10:3).

Taking Time to Listen

The Bible says that Jesus knew what was in men’s hearts.

A good pastor takes time to listen to his people, learn as many names of his congregation as possible,

and takes a keen interest in their everyday activities...that is our Pastor Coleman!
